Another beautiful and highly collectible vintage Parisian scarf from the late 60s, this time from Daniel Hechter, in excellent vintage condition. A Bohemian French provencal or hippie scarf, like the traditional gipsy floral shawls, very large and expressive.
Created from very lightweight almost sheer 100% rayon voile (looks and feels like cotton voile), the scarf has an intricate floral design,with bouquets of flowers strategically placed throughout, in a Victorian "old world" style, in antiqued almost dusty colors, a true testament of the old world charm. Can be worn as a scarf/shawl, pareo, halter top, waist scarf, or wrapped around the head as a turban and even as a decorative accent in your home. Versatile as it can be, the scarf is unique and collectible.
