Another spectacular true vintage reproduction of an Art Deco flapper evening silk jacket entirely hand beaded from Paris.
This spectacular 100% sheer silk creation is meant to be worn over a dress is heavily hand beaded with semi-clear silvery white long beads in a swirly typical Art Deco motif, with heavy 1" beaded hems.
Simply breathtaking garment! The cut is also an Art Deco cut, with "fallen" shoulder, wide sleeves and longer, pointy front hems.
The jacket dates from the early 80's, made in France and reproduces a 1921 sketch of a handmade and beaded flapper top. Unique in every way, the top is not only highly collectible but visually stunning...a rare garment for a special occasion.

AGE: as I mentioned, approximated at 1980's.
SIZE: no size marked, the jacket is meant to be open, and will fit a bust of approximately 40" (the cut allows for small variations in the bust, plus or minus 2", measured with the garment flat on surface) and has a length of 21" in the back and 30" in the front and a sleeve of 17" measured from the side of neck across shoulder to sleeve end (elbow or below).
COLOR:Black silk, silvery white beads. The beads have both white and silver grey in them for an overall whitish silver effect.
FABRIC: 100% pure silk, semi-sheer, gauzy with a crepe texture. Dry clean only as per label.
CONDITION: like everything I am offering, this is a luxury garment in superb condition: immaculately clean, NO rips, tears, damage to the fabric, the beading has been inspected thoroughly and only a few beads are missing (as seen in detailed pictures, 1-2 on the border, 2-3 seed beads in one of the swirls in the back). The few missing beads do not show at all when worn. I consider this garment in MINT vintage condition, a rare collectible, visually spectacular, worthy of a museum of fashion.
