Vintage ETIENNE AIGNER alligator embossed thick leather barrel shape large handbag in a beautiful, deep burgundy color to match my color du jour and other items I am listing today.
STYLE: barrell, longer rather than tall, handbag, with multiple compartments; double compartment in the back (like a second purse), zippered and non-zipper compartments inside, roomy to hold all your daily necessities. Hard bottom with gold metal support feet.
ETIENNE AIGNER Est.1940, original handbag made in Italy for the French label. The classic Horseshoe Logo in gold on the front of the bag and the large round leather embossed logo inside on one of the compartments, absolutely original.
SIZE: medium large, roomy, measuring 16" by 16.5" tall by 5" deep. Handles have a drop of 7".
MATERIAL: alligator embossed sturdy bonded leather, ribbed texture rips (millinery fabric) lining.
COLOR: beautiful multi tone burgundy, tone on tone lining.
CONDITION: Rated: 8/10. Previously enjoyed, in excellent vintage condition with no major visible issues. The color on the corners has gently faded in places giving it that true vintage look (not worn out, it actually looks very nice in my opinion). Sturdy intact zipper, working perfectly. LINING: small water stains on lining at bottom, not very visible, small area of darkening of the lining at the zipper (from age). These are minor and hardly visible flaws that can be overlooked. The purse looks very well it is clean and sanitized and ready to be enjoyed.
