From the colorful 80s comes this authentic Christian Dior all silk necktie from the Monsieur Line in a bright combination of colors: deep green, mottled grey and copper on Merlot red background with ivory accents.
The floral print is covering almost entirely the background, with detailed curved contoured flowers and spikey leaves.
The print has a Christmas-ey feel to it but it remains suitable for any time of the year as a pop of color to enliven a darker suit.

COLORS: as seen and as described. Lining is near white with CD logo in the weave.
FABRIC: 100% silk/soie/seta as per label. The silk is medium heavy, with a good body and medium sheen. The sheen is enhanced by the color treatment. Very interesting.
SIZE: 58" long by 4" at the widest point. This size confirms my dating it from the mid 80s.
CONDITION: excellent vintage condition, does not appear to have been used. Lining edges are dusty from storage through the years. Still, a ready to wear condition.
Bright without being tacky, interesting and colorful, this Dior tie will make a perfect gift for you or someone you love. Will be shipped in cardboard slip for protection.
