Large antique hand hammered tribal clamper hinged cuff bracelet, created from two tone brass, entirely artisan made, superb addition to your vintage and antique bohemian original jewellery.
Perfect for anytime of the year, with summer outfits as well as winter heavy sweaters, this bracelet is a gem.
The design is an ethnic Middle Eastern design, however it meets the abstract trend of more modern times to perfection. This type of designs and hand crafted hand hammered bold cuffs, has been perfectly showcased in the hippie, bohemian 60s and in the 80s.
Remains to this day an impressive, bold and expressive piece of jewellery.
The bracelet is curved and hollow inside, the design continues throughout, it also has double stations with vertical bands of hand hammered details and closes with a secure (however old) sliding bar.
It measures 2 1/4" inner circumference, and 3 3/4" outer circumference. it is 1 1/8" wide.
Age: estimated early to mid century.
Origin: Turkish or Arabic
Condition? Incredible, truly (semi) antique piece. Patina overall (to be expected) with that antique, old world charm. The nail is a bit crooked (hand hammered) but it closes very well.
