Created from a high quality cotton with flocked velvet fabric, the jacket is a long redingotte (longer than any average blazer), elegantly tailored on the waist, supported by shoulder padding and closing in front with gold metal SR logo buttons.
The details however appear to come from all periods: the almost military/safari large patch pockets under flap, closing with the logo buttons. The chest pocket closing with gold metal zipper, and SR monogrammed zipper pull. The very wide rolled up French cuffs, hiding gold SR logo buttons.
The jacket is not lined, which makes it a very French chic daytime casual.
