So...from Paris, an authentic brooch from the unconventional Andre Courreges, the one who gave us the minimalism, liberated us from the structures of the 50's, created the unmistakable Space Age fashion and more. This unique piece of jewellery comes just in time for the gift giving season.
"Andre Courreges" Paris, dating possibly from the late 60's, early 70's. NEW, vintage.
A simple design of a leaf becomes a statement of elegance through the exquisite workmanship: heavy gold tone polished metal with a striae effect is complemented on one side of the leaf by silver tone brilliant cut Swarowsky crystals, sparkling like diamonds! Closes with safety pin, stamped on the back "Key 25", with no other identifiers. Purchased as is, in London at auction house. Comes in original white and gold box with the Courreges logo on the inside satin lining..
AGE/PERIOD: approximately late 1950's, early 1970's.
