Vintage Luxury S.T.DUPONT Paris Men's Brown Calf Leather Belt with Gold Plated Buckle

If you are looking for a luxury vintage (and new never worn) belt for men from a reputable Parisian label with a long history, this belt will fit the bill. Created from extremely soft very dark coffee brown leather with leather lining, the belt has the heavy rectangular ciselled and polished gold plated (a typical Dupont) hook-up buckle, bearing the S.T.Dupont, Paris signature and two sliders in two tone brown, with the same signature embossed on the leather.
The belt appears to have never ever been worn and is on superb condition, even though the style is estimated being from the late 80s or early 90s.

The prestigious Dupont brand celebrates over 140 years of illustrious history. At the age of 25 in the 1870s, Dupont, a photographer to Napoleon III, opened his first leather goods and trunks shop in Paris and began producing a steady line of exclusive luxury line of leather products, entirely personalized for the elite and the rich and famous. He designed and produced sets of luggage for empresses, queens and kings, such as the 1890s set produced expressly for Empress Eugenie. In 1941, at the express order of a Maharaja Dupont extended his products to producing the first solid gold Dupont lighter and minaudiere purses, lighter that remains to this day a supert luxury accessory. Queen Elizabeth II was gifted with a luxury Dupont trunk case upon her royal wedding, followed by the Dutchess of Windsor in 1951, Humphrey Bogart who ordered an intial personalized travel bag, and Audrey Hepburn, for which Dupont has created the 1st Riviera handbag in 1953. Jackie Kennedy, who already owned a Dupont solid gold lighter ordered several leather and gold matching pieces in 1972 ...and the label continued its glorious luxury producing history ever since.
