Unique and extremely beautiful, chunky vintage torsade, a statement necklace in the right sense of the word.
Created from 18 twisted strands of tube composite shell beads in variations of light and dark brown, the necklace is hold in place by a sliding piece entirely tiled with mother of pearl in matching shades of creamy beige with brown accents.
It closes in the back with old fashioned safety closure in perfect working order and has a 3" extender. I photographed the necklace with and without the extender to show variation in lengths.
The torsade measures approximately 16.5" in length PLUS 3" extender.
AGE: estimated in the 80s
ORIGIN: North Africa, Morocco
