An authentic signed MR DINO maxi dress/hostess dress dating from the early 70s in whimsical very large white/cream/yellow floral on black, with the pattern replicated both front and back. The dress still has the store label where it has been sold, attached to an inside seam, reading:
Carol & Mary - Honolulu, a famous boutique in the 60s, 70s and 80s.
The dress still carries the MOD legacy of the 60s, in the bold colored large pattern, the simple cut with a small mandarin neckline, narrow sleeves and a long fluid line with high side slits. The dress closes in the back with a long zipper.
The pattern is complete with a wide band at the bottom an interplay of the same colors in the rest of the dress. The dress is not lined and is created from the traditional medium light stretch dacron? fabric, easy to wear and care for, just wash and hang dry.
MR. DINO-Paris New York Florence
Best known for his unique prints, the MR DINO label was initiated in the 1950s was sold in the early 70s and has been associated with Pucci, Paganne, Goldworm the labels known for unique prints, bold graphics and florals and signed in the weave authenticity seal. The unique character and inimitable prints make any Mr. Dino dress a desirable garment in any fashion era.
