Another superb and unique piece of fashion history.
From a 1940's bridal trousseau comes this custom made, hand embroidered WHITE silk satin slip with delicate pastel floral French needle embroidery and delicate scalloped edges. There are little flowers randomly embroidered throughout the slip as well.
Only two of the original 6 (set) have survived, the ones which have not been worn, one in pink and one in white, each with its own style of embroidery, exquisite bridal trousseau custom hand embroidered slips!
Created in the tradition of the 1930's Hollywood diva lingerie, from heavy bias cut satin, with an almost empire, perfectly tailored bodice, the slip is a masterpiece of custom lingerie. The slip measures 20" across the bust for a total of 40" and is 37.5" long. Absolutely immaculate condition, never worn, NO fading, wear or any other sign of the passage of time.
A unique piece of lingerie extremely rare to find, custom made, true vintage, never worn in mint condition.
