Beautiful and elegant cocktail dress, this Cheongsam inspired cocktail dress, recreates that Chinese silhouette and oriental mystique, through the simplicity of the cut and the superior quality of the silk shantoung complemented by a unique in-between color: aqua-blue- grey with muted teal/turquoise trims and buttons.

The dress has been made as a Sample (as per attached label) by the Creative Studio at Holt Renfrew, Canada's equivalent for Barney's or Saks. It is a sample cocktail dress in size 6, with a simple fitted silhouette, falling just below the knees. The dress has a side zipper and opens at the mandaring neckline, closing on the side with silk covered tiny buttons. A little bit of a short kimono sleeve and...voila! a subtle, elegant, timeless, upscale dress and a conversation piece. AND, being a sample, you know it has not been duplicated...you will be truly unique!
AGE: approximately early 90s.

BUST 37" or 94 cm
WAIST 32" or 82cm
HIPS 38" or 97cm
LENGTH 39" or 100cm
FABRIC: all silk ! Silk shantoung exterior with that very slightly nubby texture, silk lining in paler blue.
