Custom made vintage 1982 very elegant ensemble, with a spaghetti strap fitted formal LACE gown and open front jacket, in a superb deep golden yellow color.
The outfit is created from medium weight lace in a regular baroque pattern on a yellow lining. The gown is very fitted to create an hourglass silhouette, has a plunging back with long back zipper reinforced by hooks and eye underneath, long back slit, bust forming seaming and thin gold lurex straps for an added sparkle. Neck and decollete hems are cut along the pattern of the lace for a scalloped effect and trimmed with lurex thread. ALL the hems are like that.
The open front bolero jacket is simple and straight, with the same gold trimmed scalloped edges and hems, also fully lined in the same fabric. WELL done and perfectly tailored, this custom made evening outfit is as fabulous today as it has been way back when. You will love it!
COLOR: golden yellow.
FABRIC: LACE, probably synthetic. Lovely texture, lightweight but with a good body.
SIZE: no size label either,it was custom made for me. It will fit a 6-8 North American, UK=10, Euro=36, France=34 in my estimate.
Will accommodate a bust of 37" (no stretch to the fabric), a waist of 28", a hip of 38" and is 50.5" long. The jacket is a 39" bust, 24" long, 21.5" sleeves length and 13" across the back.
CONDITION: Immaculate,worn once for a few hours at a function and dry cleaned...just perfect.
