Winter...WHITE

As Fall morphs into winter and the prospect of an all white landscape makes me look forward to serene moments of contemplation, I decided to bring you a perspective on ...white, in fashion now.
Inspiration came from yet another spectacular window dressing dreamed and executed by a young, up and coming designer and artistic director from Vancouver, Sonia Capriceru. She is the mastermind (and most of the time the handy hands) behind these unique window dressings unveiled twice a year with almost clockwork precision at Front&Co, a hip vintage and modern consignment store in central Vancouver.
Sonia's vision, celebrated in local media as "Art in Unexpected Places", a striking blend of modernity and surrealism, has that magic quality that prompts reflection, drawing you instantly out of the mundane, if only for a moment. That makes them unforgettable.
This years windows are a feast for the eyes, a monochromatic, all white dream of winter. I will let you find the metaphors behind the images. Enjoy!
